In every morning whenever I pick up the newspaper than I look to take a quick look to headline and I would like to start search for the page where it is given that where the astrology horoscope is found. Even my friend is too keen to see their horoscope in daily newspaper as they whenever see me reading newspaper they will ask me about there horoscopes. They always like to read the horoscope because they usually mention your luck, your love life or fortune for the day. It also shows that what is good for you in this day, what can be your lucky number, what not to do for the day to avoid trouble or bad luck. That is reasons why most of the people likes to see their horoscope every day or for the whole week. The horoscopes are usually published in newspapers, magazines, and books. But what really are horoscopes and when did it start? Who started it? Well, let us try to know about the history of horoscopes.
Now we will try to get some knowledge about the pre-history of the astrology. The ancient Greeks used horoscope and astrology forecasted and predestined the person’s life by the position of the moon, sun, and stars. Astrology is the Greek name, which means “science of the stars”. In ancient they believe that they can predict future of the person with the help of the position of the suns or planets. Farmers had also got the advantage of the astrology as they worked according to the signs of the stars to determine the effective way to know when to plant and when to harvest their crops.
In earlier, there was no formal education to give dependable information. People even tried to know about their existence by looking at the stars in the sky to find the answers. Even we try this now as when we don’t get the answers we start looking at the stars and start finding the answers. People who believe on the astrologers go to them for finding the answers or solution of the problems. Even many businessmen tried this, as they would ask their future in the business. It was the china that started the study and use of astrology for farming and to decide of best seasons and months for different planting cycles.
In 500 BC, Plato, the philosopher, got interested and studied further about the astrology and even used it. Because of the study of Plato of the astrology, the interest of astrology kept alive. After the Plato had left it then the Galileo had continued in it. He was only the first person who was the inventor telescope due to this the Christians had a powerful voice. In order to avoid the temper of the Church and to make it more acceptable in 1600 an astrologer William Lilly renamed astrology “Christian Astrology”. Even Clancy published his magazine on “American astrology” which had been used as instrumental in popularizing astrology.
Side by side Chinese even started with their own horoscope method, but they used different methods, if Greece used the collection, then the Chinese used animals’ signs of rats, ox tiger, fish, dragon, dogs, rabbit and others. The used of the animals will depend on your data birth date. A horoscope is a chart or a diagram of the zodiac signs that portray the aspects of the stars and planets at a given moment and forecast the future not the individual, but also of a geographic region or even the world. As people had got the right time for them to sign important documents, the right time to visit places, the right time to hold conferences and meeting. Well the astrologers had helped the people by telling their future. Astrology horoscopes are fun, interesting, and certainly may be accurate.
