Is it possible to have a lasting relationship with someone even if your astrology does not match?

You have to look at the whole NATAL CHART to know whether your relationship will be compatible or not. You specifically have to look at the MOON, ASCENDANT, VENUS and MARS SIGNS. You can also do syntatry which will tell you how good of a match you are.

Yeah, you just have to work more for it
look at ascton kutcher and demi moore – completely different horoscopes, but they seems to be so happy! 
If your timing is right, share interests and such everyone can fit… actually that has more to do with it than astrology even!

i think you should avoid the cancer and get a sagittarius or a gemini. but mainly a sagittarius. cancer is very jealous and can be deceitful.

I would never tell somebody to stop seeing someone because of their star sign. Yes it means a lot but forgetting astrology for a minute, were all just human. That’s it. Underneath everything, were all the same and if you know and understand that then you could even get along with pisces(One of your worst match)

Of course it’s possible, you shouldn’t base who you date and who you don’t date on astrology because it isn’t everything. Astrology can help you better understand what a persons personality traits might be like but it doesn’t define who they are as a person. I’m a Gemini and some things about my sign describe me perfectly while other things don’t (for example Gemini’s are supposed to be very social life of the party type of people, but I’m not an extremely social person and I don’t like to be surrounded by a lot of people all the time).
So basically what I’m saying is you can only read into astrology to a certain extent. My ex was a Virgo, which doesn’t match with Gemini and we dated for many years and are still friends. We only broke up because we were both pursuing very different lifestyles as far as the future goes.
The man that I like now is a Cancer, another sign that doesn’t match, yet to be honest I have never met anyone else who reminds me so much of myself than he does. The similarities between us are scary sometimes. So yeah, don’t avoid someone just because of their sign, get to know them as a person instead and take it from there. Good luck!

Do you think it is right to stereotype because of race, sex, age, and ethnic background. How about based on a calendar, a birthday? If you do stereotype for any of these reasons, there is a word for it. Bigotry.
This is what astrology does. It is a bigoted concept, unique in fortune telling methods. No one has control over what day they are born. There is no evidence that any of astrology’s stereotypes are valid. Also astrology is biased against itself. It encourages hatred against others. Just because of the day they are born. Maybe it is you with the wrong birthday. So what make astrology be a good tool to base relationships on?

i am not sure if Gemini and Taurus are "supposed" to get along or not..
but my mom and dad have been married for over 20 years now.

Well…fire(leo) and water(cancer) isn’t as bad as fire and earth persay. The kind of opposites you have can attract.
Lol my mom’s a leo and dad is a cap. ….not supposed to be compatible but I guess they are! Theyve been happily married for like 30 years now and are alright. If so then you and your guy must be pretty compatible….but idk, it does kinda vary, you should check out your moon/rising and whatnot.

Yes love has no boundaries…..and love does not equal to astrology, skin color, religion, or anything. In the end Love rules all other things, that of course includes Astrology
