Astrology compatibility – Aquarius and Leo?

I am an Aquarius with Leo rising, while my boyfriend is Leo with Aquarius rising. I’m just wondering what a couple of this type of combination will be like. And relax, I won’t take a bad reaction as a sign of doom, we’ve been going out for 2 years and still going strong.

Aquarius will assume Leo should know automatically what they are thinking and should’nt have to ask.
Leo wants affirmation that Aquarius takes for granted. Aquarius seems a little less grounded in reality than leo with wilder aspirations. Chinese Astrology Compatibility… Is it accurate at all?

I was born on May 14, 1991 (Year: Metal Sheep, Month: Water Snake, Day: Wood Monkey), and my boyfriend was born on October 24, 1986 (Year: Fire Tiger, Month: Earth Dog, Day: Water Rabbit). I never actually got a full detailed reading that included all of this information, but every time I look up information about the compatibility between the sheep and the tiger, it says that the relationship won’t last long or it will be extremely difficult and we aren’t suited for one another. The thing is, he and I have been together for a year now and are set on marrying each other, and we also are truly in love with one another, and I even stay at his place 4 out of 7 days a week, so we’re around each other quite often. Every time we’re together, we always have so much fun and are so happy. We do have our nasty little bumps every now and then, but we’ve gotten through them, and it’s normal in every relationship to encounter those sorts of things. We are both really different from each other personality-wise, but we’re also very similar in a lot of ways, too. We both teach each other things, and broaden each other’s view and perspective. It makes me a bit sad always reading such negative things about our sign compatibility, though. I know I probably shouldn’t put so much thought into it, but sometimes, it can be a downer, and I just want to know… Can Chinese astrology be accurate at all when it comes to this?

Actually, Goat (i.e., Sheep) is incompatible with Ox while Tiger is incompatible with Monkey. So, you two are not exactly incompatible as per Chinese astrology.

Incidentally, I know of a married couple who are incompatible based on their Chinese sign, but seems to be doing fine. In Chinese astrology, it’s not impossible for two "incompatible" signs to have a relationship. There are other factors to be considered. Anyway, I think it’s probably because they have something in common which can be seen using the zodiac or Western astrology.

Frankly, since you are Taurus and your BF is Scorpio, you are actually compatible going by the elements (i.e., Taurus is an earth sign while Scorpio is a water sign).

Is it fairly on-the-mark, or have you dated someone incredible whom you weren’t supposed to be compatible with?

I think compatibility charts are very accurate. But Ive only ever done two but they were so dead on with everything (even on why it didnt work out).
Basic astrology compatibility can be somewhat accurate but I find I get along with people from all signs so Im not too sure. I do think character descriptions are VERY accurate though (especially when looking at the persons whole chart)

Hey…I’m an Aries woman engaged to a Scorpio man. I’ll tell you the good and the bad. Way more good though.

We complement each other very well. He’s very emotional, I’m in tune to what is making him emotional so I can support that. He’s excellent with money, I’m not the greatest with it so I let him handle all the finances. We finish each other’s sentences, we read each other’s minds at times. And even in the event of an argument, we never stray from the fact that we love each other so that will never change.

The bad points is, it’s true, there tends to be a lot of arguments but that’s due to the fact that we’re both argumentative people. Also, him being a Scorpio, he can say a lot of mean things when he is angry. But he’s never one to shy away from apologizing and we’re back to being 2 peas in a pod.

I’ve never been in a more satisfying, comfortable and confident relationship before so I say go for it. It’s a good match to me.

As an astrologer, I have noticed several mistakes in these websites. They use general dates and that is not the most accurate way to share a horoscope. FYI – I am speaking in Western Astrology terms.

For an example, let’s say you were born on February 19th, 1977. According to some of the sites you would be an Aquarius and others you would be a Pisces. However, the only true way to know is by the birth time. Let’s say that the sun changed from Aquarius to Pisces at 1:23 pm, that would mean that anyone born before would be an Aquarius and after this time (to the second), would be a Pisces.

You also have to consider where you were born in the world. If you were born in a country that does NOT use DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME, then that would change things as well.

It seems to me, that if you are curious about your Birth Chart, then I would do 1 of 2 things…

1) See an Astrologer. There are many out there and not all are honest. I would see someone that was a Certified Astrologer…

Sun Semisquare Uranus in my compatibility results, no matter who I do them for, according to Astrology.com?

I recently tried finding compatibility using Astrology.com. I tried them using my details as well as several other peoples’ details and in almost all cases got Sun Semisquare Uranus. Why is it so? Does it have something to do with my horoscope?
